Paul Barker is acknowledged as one of the UK’s leading architectural photographers contributing on a regular basis to many magazines including Homes & Gardens, The World of Interiors and Country Homes and Interiors, but he is best known for his 15 year association with Country Life magazine. Paul has also illustrated many books including England’s Thousand Best Churches and How We Built Britain. Recently he has been the author and photographer of three books which celebrate the architectural merits of three great cities, entitled Liverpool, Dublin and Leeds. 2010 was quite a busy year. Apart from his work on Country Life, Paul also worked on three books. The first entitled English Ruins will be published in the Spring 2011 as will Downside Abbey An Architectural History. Both published by Merrell. The third book entitled English Country House Interiors will be published in the Autumn 2011 by Rizzolli.
